Hotel heiress Nicky Hilton is planning to launch her own hotel. Paris’ sister will renovate two existing buildings in oiami later this year and intends to design the interiors herself. The new hotel will be named after the 22-year-old and will feature a $5,000-a-night penthouse suite designed by fashion boss Roberto Cavalli. The new 94-room boutique/condominium accommodation will also include entertainment news screens in the elevator and even a signature scent. She says, “I’ve been around hotels my whole life, and I know a good hotel when I see one.” [10 July 2006]
