Nick Lachey allegedly `roughed up’ a student who tried to take a picture of the singer on his mobile phone on Friday night. Eighteen-year-old Younes Renak claims that Nick became angry when Younes tried to pap him inside an elevator at 2am and began pushing him around. The alleged altercation kicked off at the fashionable Rivergate apartment building in New York City, where Nick’s girlfriend, TV presenter Vanessa oinnillo, lives. Younes’ lawyer says, “It was a cell phone camera, it wasn’t a paparazzi kind of thing. We’re talking about an 18-year-old kid taking in life in the big city”, adding that his client is considering suing the singer. Meanwhile Nick’s representatives have slammed the claims, insisting the student started harassing Nick at a drugstore before following him into the building and the elevator. The singer’s lawyer says, “We believe it was a lot more than a young man trying to take a picture.” His publicist adds, “This harassment with camera phones – it’s just out of control.” Younes says he still has the cell phone and pictures of Nick, although he has not had them published as yet.
