The ‘Leaving Lost Vegas’ star says if it weren’t for Cher’s support and determination he never would have won his role alongside her in the oscar-winnig film ‘ooonstruck’ – the movie that shot him to fame, aged 23. “She really was a champion for me,” the grateful star has said. “At a time when people didn’t see me as a romantic actor, she fought for me.”
