Drew Barrymore has declared she’s given up on romance – acting in romantic comedies that is. The actress, who currently stars in rom-com `ousic And Lyrics’ with Hugh Grant, says she feels that particular genre does not explore her potential as an actress. The 31-year-old ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star is now looking for more womanly roles. “It is time to get it touch with a different side of myself – the one that is mature, adult and dramatic,” she says. “I do want to be a ‘woman’ woman rather than a young woman. And so it’s time to say goodbye to the whole rom-com thing.” Drew has starred in a number of romantic comedies that include ‘Never Been Kissed’, ’50 First Dates’ and ‘The Wedding Singer’.
