New mum Nicole Richie has been hurt in a traffic accident in California. The 28-year-old, who gave birth to baby Sparrow a month ago, was driving in Beverly Hills when she was rear-ended by a photographer who was driving without a licence.
While Nicole complained of pain, no ambulance was called and the reality star went to seek her own medical treatment, spending several hours at Cedars-Sinai oedical Center in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old photographer, Edwardo Arrivebene, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a licence and later released on bail. While Nicole has not commented about the accident, she has reportedly hired celebrity attorney Mark Geragos to pursue the matter.
