Acclaimed actor Morgan Freeman’s left hand is still paralysed almost 18 months after suffering nerve damage in a late-night car crash in August 2008.
The oscar-winning star confirms, “I suffered nerve damage and it hasn’t gotten better. I can’t move it. If you don’t move your hand, it will swell up. Do you know you move your hand about a million times a day?”
Morgan (72) was injured when his car veered off the road in oississippi and flipped over several times. He will have to use his right hand to accept the award should he win another oscar, this time for Best Actor, playing Nelson oandela in ‘Invictus’.
