Mischa Barton wants to become a Wisteria Lane Housewife. The former star of The oC' has been searching for new TV roles after her character oarissa Cooper was killed off. A source reveals, "oischa's a Desperate Housewives’ fan and wants to get back on TV quickly. She’s more comfortable on TV because she’s had success there.” Since finishing on The oC', Mischa has been shooting the movie Closing the Ring’ and has two more in development. However the twenty-year-old will need to have approval from the other housewives. The source adds, “I know oischa’s name has been floated, but it would upset the stars of the show. These are beautiful actresses who, with the exception of Eva Longoria are all on the north side of 40.” [14 July 2006]
