Miley Cyrus has announced her engagement to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.
The 19-year old says that The Hunger Games actor proposed to her on May 31, with a 3.5 carat diamond ring.
She told People magazine, “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam.”
The former Disney star has been sharing the love on Twitter writing, “I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow…”
In another, she tweeted “life is beautiful” and “thank you for all the love today 🙂 I’m happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. ❤ have a great day”
The couple first met when they worked together in 2009 on The Last Song, where Liam said in an interview that they couldn’t help but fall in love.
“What happened happened, and we’ve been together since.”
The couple split in 2010, but resumed their relationship last year.
