He’s never made a secret of his flamboyant tastes, but pop prodigy oika has always refused to comment on his sexuality – until now. The ‘Grace Kelly’ has come out as bisexual to a gay magazine, telling fans, “I’ve never limited my life. I’ve never limited who I sleep with… So, I don’t know. Call me whatever you want. Call me bisexual, if you need a term for me… That’s as close as I’ll get to any label.”
oika has also spoken out about a past heartache, explaining how he got revenge by posting publicity posters for his first album near his ex-partner’s house. The handsome 26-year-old recalls, “It happened three years ago, just before it all took off. I should never have got my heart broken. It was the first time in my life I realised it was something you can’t control. I added £2,000 [$NZ4500] of my own money to the promotional budget to put the posters everywhere so the heartbreaker could not escape.”
