What Lies Beneath’ actress Michelle Pfeiffer has confessed she has thought about getting a facelift but hopes she doesn’t have to go under the knife for a few years.
“I toy with it,” she says.
“When I’m rested, I look pretty darn oK. I can hold off on that facelift for another few years. [But] when I’m feeling weary, then I think, maybe I better make that appointment.”
“I’ve seen some amazing-looking plastic surgery. But who knows what you’ll get?
I’m hoping I’m courageous enough to grow old gracefully.”
The mum-of-two says Tinseltown’s obsession is out of control and the 48-year-old knows she’s not getting any younger.
“[But] this epidemic of people losing sight of what looks good, the distortion that has been going on is kind of creepy.”
The Batman Returns beauty is making a screen comeback as a TV executive in I Could Never Be Your Woman. Pfeiffer says she is enjoying a slower lifestyle after her move from Los Angeles to Northern California with her TV writer husband, David E. Kelley and their two children, Claudia Rose, 13, and John Henry, 12.
“Ageing happens to every single one of us. once you accept that it unburdens you,” she says.
“I certainly see that I’ve changed. I just try not to dwell on it.”
