Michael Douglas will play flamboyant pianist Liberace in a new biopic.

Matt Damon is lined up to play his lover and Steven Soderbergh will direct. Liberace, a huge star in the 1950s and ’60s, was famous for his amazing stage shows but refused to confirm his homosexuality up until the day he died from Aids in 1987.
