Further details of Michael Jackson’s autopsy report have emerged – and the details revealed are rather surprising. According to the coroner, the late singer had “a strong heart” and was “a fairly healthy 50-year-old”.
However, he did have a range of other health issues, including arthritis in the lower spine and chronically inflamed lungs. But the lung condition was not serious enough to be a direct or contributing cause of death.
The report also revealed that Michael had a fondness for tattoos, but not the traditional variety. Rather the singer had his facial features exaggerated by a series of tattoos – dark on his eyebrows and around his eyes, while a pink tattoo was on his lips to give the appearance of lipstick.
The full autopsy report is yet to be released, but Michael’s cause of death has been confirmed as a homicide caused by a powerful anaesthetic.
