Michael Bublé talks about becoming a dad

“I’m excited, but I’m also really nervous."

Canadian crooner, Michael Bublé, has opened up about the imminent arrival of his son.

“I’m excited, but I’m also really nervous,” the 37-year-old told The Sun.

“I’m not so scared about being a dad because I know that I have a lot to give. I’m more nervous about the day itself.”

Michael, whose wife Luisana Lopilato is due this month, adds, “I care an awful lot about my wife and obviously I worry about her. I just want to make sure that I’m there during the labour and do what a guy’s duty is to do. Women do the heavy lifting and we’ve just got to be there to support them.

“Lu looks so cute with her bump and she takes such good care of herself – she still goes to the gym every day. I’m really proud of the way she’s handled herself.”

While pregnant, Luisana has been filming a movie in Argentina, spending some time apart from her husband, who has been recording a documentary about his early career in Vancouver.
