Former ‘Melrose Place’ heart-throb Andrew Shue is married! The 42-year-old actor wed US news anchor Amy Robach in New York.
The couple – who met last April at a book launch and announced their engagement in September – tied the knot at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers, near the Hudson River. It was an extra-special day for Amy, who was also celebrating her 37th birthday. Instead of a wedding cake, there was a birthday cake.
The couple wrote their own vows and Andrew’s mum Anne Harms officiated over the ceremony. The wedding party included the groom’s three sons with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney and Amy’s two daughters with ex-husband Tim McIntosh.
A rep from ‘Weekend Today’, the show Amy works on, reports, “The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Amy and Andrew were beaming. The décor was simple and there were lots of candles. The guest list was fairly small. They wanted an intimate feel with close friends and family.”
