Mel Gibson is making the news for all the wrong reasons once again. Following his drunken anti-Semitic rant in 2006, his highly publicised divorce and the birth of his eighth child to younger woman oksana Grigorieva, the ‘Edge of Darkness’ actor has made headlines for swearing at a journalist.
Television interviewer Dean Richards bravely asked the actor, “Do you feel like you’re a different person, maybe a better person, than you were five years ago?
You’ve been through a lot of ups and downs.”
Mel replied, “Hey, it’s a real rollercoaster ride. Time teaches and you learn as you go… I think I’ve done all the necessary mea culpas.”
Dean then quizzed Mel about his alleged “drinking problems” and his anti-Jewish comments, to which the volatile star replied, “That’s almost four years ago, dude. I’ve moved on. I guess you haven’t.”
Then, thinking the interview was over, Mel took a sip of coffee and muttered the word “a*sehole” while still being filmed. He has since claimed he was simply swearing at his publicist, who he says was in the same room and making faces at him.
