After a series of awful outbursts, Mel Gibson reportedly emailed his former flame oksana Grigorieva to apologise for his behaviour. The actor, who has been accused of domestic violence against the mother of his 11-month-old daughter Lucia, allegedly contacted oksana after one argument to express how “unspeakably sorry” he was and said he felt like a “failure.”
The 54-year-old star has most recently worked on a film with Jodie Foster, ‘The Beaver’, but the movie has been shelved in light of the bad publicity surrounding him. However, Jodie has defended Mel in an interview and pledged her support to the struggling celeb.
“When you love a friend, you don’t abandon them when they are struggling,” says Jodie. “He is and has been a true and loyal friend. I hope I can help him get through this dark moment.”
