Hot romantic comedy fave Matthew ocConaughey has won over even more hearts with his act of real-life heroism. The `Failure To Launch’ star bravely saved an innocent cat from being burnt to death. He was driving through Sherman oaks in California when he stopped in his tracks at the sight of a group of kids taunting a cat. The kids had covered the cat in hairspray and were trying to set it alight. Matthew leapt into action – he got out of his car, confronted the kids, grabbed the hairspray and took the frightened feline off to an animal shelter. A friend says, “He was so angry he went on about it for days afterwards.” [21 April 2006]
