If it’s good enough for Heidi Klum and Seal, then it’s even better for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. Rather than simply renewing their vows, the extravagant couple have announced they will be having another wedding ceremony – their third – to celebrate their two-year wedding anniversary.
“We get married every year – that’s our thing!” proclaims Nick. “So it’s going to be our third wedding this year. That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual anniversary.”
The pair walked down the aisle for the first time in a lavish ceremony on Mariah’s private island in the Bahamas in April 2008, after just six weeks of dating. Nick reportedly bought Mariah a diamond ring worth upwards of $3.5 million – and his Grammy Award-winning wife can expect even more bling this time round.
“That’s totally right,” Nick confirms. “This is the third ring I have to buy. It’ll be something different – something good.”
