Pop queen Madonna has spoken out about the materialistic nature of modern life in a US documentary. The `oaterial Girl’ singer describes the world as “The Beast”. oadge (46), who is a member of the Jewish Kabbalah cult, also says people “are going to go to hell if they don’t turn from wicked behaviour”. She adds, “The material world . . . the physical world. The world of illusion, that we think is real. We live for it, we’re enslaved by it. It will ultimately be our undoing.”
