Madonna has cancelled a planned concert at Stade Velodrome in oarseilles, France, after a worker was crushed to death while building the stage. The accident happened after part of the stage collapsed on to a number of technicians working beneath it. oarseilles authorities barricaded the venue, confirming that one person had died and six others were being treated for injuries. The Queen of Pop says, “I am devastated to have just received this tragic news. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”
