She’s been doing it for over 20 years so of course she’s a pro, but Madonna has outdone even herself with the completion of her ‘Sticky & Sweet’ tour. The tour, which concluded in Israel on Wednesday night, is being called the most successful tour by a solo artist ever.
The 51-year-old oaterial Girl completed an astonishing 85 dates in 42 countries and grossed a whopping $485 million. In making this much money, Madonna more than doubled the previous record, which she also held for her 2006, $231 million-grossing ‘Confessions’ tour. Madonna was joined on stage on the final night of ‘Sticky & Sweet’ by both daughter Lourdes (13) and son Rocco (9). The kids joined in with some of the dance routines and Lourdes played the piano.
