Madonna has asked her 15-year-old Lourdes to select dancers to go on the road with her in a talent-show contest at London’s Pineapple Dance Studios, but upset some professionals who believed the 53-year-old singer would be judging.
“A lot of dancers were upset Madonna wasn’t involved at the audition stage. But she knows Lourdes is more than capable of picking from the heats,” a source says.
Insiders have defended Lourdes, stating she is qualified to audition dancers.
“Lourdes does routines every day in her mother’s studios as well as taking classes. She can now do jazz, hip-hop, popping, contemporary and even tap.”
The performers were asked to create a one-minute video of themselves dancing to Madonna’s hit Celebration.
