Madonna added fuel to the rumours that her marriage to Guy Ritchie is on the rocks when she turned up to a fashion show red-eyed and ringless. onlookers reckoned Madonna looked like she had spent the night crying and her wedding ring was conspicuous by its absence, leading to further speculation that the pop queen is headed for divorce. one says, “Madonna’s inner circle is very concerned and they’ve been talking loudly.” So loudly that back in London, “the paparazzi have been camped out of Madonna’s home for weeks now,” says our source – whereas Madonna has previously lead a fairly quiet and normal life in England. However Madonna’s agent insists, “She and Guy are fine. They just had dinner together. Sometimes she wears her wedding ring, sometimes she doesn’t.” [27 January 2006]
