Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter has reveaed she spent years battling a secret alcohol addiction after worldwide fame from the 1970s TV series left her unable to cope. The 54-year-old actress, who stars in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie, was so consumed by her booze dependency, she even prayed for death to end her misery. She says, “I kept thinking I could control it and handle it, but alcoholism is a disease. It creeps up on you. I would never kill myself, but I thought that if I just died by accident it would be better.”
