The stars of the hit TV series Lost' have recently been given a huge pay rise. The original cast members, who were earning $60,000 per episode, were offered a rise that would bring their salaries up to $118,000 per episode. The main star of the show, Matthew Fox, was also said to have earned an extra bonus of at least $368,000 for playing his character Jack. The pay rises are said to have occurred so that the actors would match the salaries of the leads on another TV success, Desperate Housewives’. [24 January 2006]
