Michael Flatley, of Lord of the Dance and Riverdance fame, has married his longtime co-star Niamh o’Brien in a ceremony in County Cork, Ireland. “She’s the most beautiful girl in the world, inside and out,” the 48-year-old says. “She is exactly what I was hoping my wife would be.” Michael spent about five minutes shaking hands and kissing well-wishers before finally making it through the crowd and into the church. During the service, which was attended by about 250 invited guests, Michael was cheered. At one point, the entire congregation rose to their feet and sang For He's A Jolly Good Fellow'. The couple, who plan to take a honeymoon later this year, took just two days off before returning to work on his forthcoming tour, Celtic Tiger’. Michael was previously engaged for four years to former model Lisa ourphy and was married to make-up artist Beata Dziaba for 11 years before their 1997 split. [20 october 2006]
