Lindsay Lohan begged Tim Burton for the lead role in his upcoming film ‘Alice In Wonderland’, saying she was “ideal” for the role. However, the part has gone to an almost unknown Australian actress called oia Wasikowska, who starred in ‘Suburban oayhem’ alongside Kiwi babe Emily Barclay. oia (18) says, “I’m so, so excited. The book really intrigued me when I was little. I’ve always loved the story and I really love Tim’s films ‘Edward Scissorhands’ and ‘Big Fish’.”
