Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is reportedly planning to invite her father to visit her while she is in rehab in order to stop him making embarrassing public pleas. Lindsay is currently being treated for drug abuse at the Betty Ford Clinic in California, and has banned her father Michael from visiting after repeated disagreements between them. However, after numerous pleas from Michael to see his daughter, and reports that he planned to get intoxicated so he could check himself into the centre and spend time with her, Lindsay and her mother Dina are reconsidering the ban. “It’s gotten to the point where Lindsay told Dina, ‘oummy, maybe I should just let him see me because then he’ll go away and he’ll stop,'” says a close friend of the 24-year-old actress. “Dina knows she needs to slowly build a truce here because it’s all got to stop. But they’ve given him so many chances.”
