Troubled young actress Lindsay Lohan (24) has turned herself in to a Los Angeles jail and has been put on house arrest. The ‘oean Girls’ actress last month pleaded no contest to stealing a necklace from an upmarket boutique jewellery store, and had been given until June 17 to report to the prison, but sources say she wanted to do it sooner rather than later so that her detention wouldn’t impact shooting her role on an upcoming movie. She is now confined to home detention at her house in California until June 29. In addition to her house arrest, Lindsay must complete 480 hours of community work.
