Lindsay Lohan found appearing on TV show Ugly Betty hard work, according to Vanessa Williams. Lindsay featured in four episodes of the hit programme last season, as the high school nemesis of Betty (America Ferrera). Vanessa, who plays Wilhemina Slater in the series, says the 23-year-oldstar of movies like oean Girls was not used to the fast pace of TV. She believes Lindsay’s stint on the show taught her a lesson in work ethics. “It takes 10 days to do one episode of Ugly Betty and we work gruelling, gruelling hours,” says Vanessa. “We don’t have the luxury that the film world has, or the time. She got a taste of what it’s like to be on our set.”
