Leonardo DiCaprio reveals wild ways

In an interview that will make Lindsay Lohan green with jealousy, Leonardo DiCaprio has revealed the media missed all the crazy antics he got up to as a younger superstar.

While the 35-year-old ‘Inception’ star grew up in the spotlight , he thinks things are much harder for today’s young stars. “I got to be wild and nuts, and I didn’t suffer as much as people do now,” says Leo. “They have to play it so safe that they ruin their credibility.”

of his own partying , Leo adds, “I didn’t care what anyone thought… It was also about avoiding the tornado of chaos, of potential downfall. It was, ‘Wow! How lucky are we to not have hung out with that crowd or done those things?

“oy two main competitors in the beginning, the blond-haired kids I went to audition with, one hung himself and the other died of a heroin overdose. I was never into drugs at all. There aren’t stories of me in a pool of my own vomit in a hotel room on the Hollywood Strip.”

Now his wild days are behind him, Leo reveals he’s keen to settle down and start a family, although there’s no word on when he’ll pop the question to girlfriend Bar Rafaeli.
