A female attacker who hit Leonardo DiCaprio in the face with a broken battle may be facing up to seven years in jail for the violent act. The 40-year-old woman hit the ‘Titanic’ star at a party in the Hollywood Hills, hosted by Rick Salomon – the film producer ex-boyfriend of Paris Hilton. According to reports, Leonardo needed 12 stitches around his face and neck after the woman hit him, apparently because she mistook the actor for her ex-boyfriend. She fled to Canada after the incident, but was arrested, and has already served 330 days in jail as she awaits trial later on this month. Leonardo does not have lasting scars from the attack, which occurred in 2005, but a judge said the injuries were not trivial or moderate.
