Leona Lewis has been in the wars lately. After being smacked in the face by a horse, punched by a male fan at a book signing and recently flashing her undies onstage, the accident prone singer has now fallen down a lift shaft!
The ‘Bleeding Love’ singer narrowly avoided serious injury while performing in England, saying, “We have been having problems with the lift. It had been going fine in rehearsals and then I had a bit of an accident and fell down the lift shaft. It was quite scary.
“I was lucky not to get injured. Fortunately it happened during a blackout on set and didn’t affect the show and none of the audience saw anything. I got a shock and had to be rescued.”
However, Leona, who also saw one of her elaborate stage sets jam the following night, refuses to let these setbacks affect her performance. “I had to just get back up and carry on,” she says.
