(Headline $27.99)Saved from being far too familiar chick-lit fare by being set in Paris, this is the story of American actress Madison, her French philosopher husband olivier, their daughter Sabine and her naughty nanny Anna. For a while there I didn’t care for any of them terribly much but it was nice to meander through the streets of Saint-Germain while I was making up my mind. In the end, I decided Left Bank does indeed qualify as a light and tasty read. Also, it has the most gorgeous cover.
