Lady Gaga fears bisexual backlash

She has all the fame, success and strange clothes in the world, but Lady Gaga still fears the wrath of her family, especially if she falls in love with a woman. The ‘Bad Romance’ singer has never been shy about her sexuality and has even admitted that she would like to start a relationship with a girl – but she hasn’t out of fear her family will disown her.

A source close to the star says, “Gaga is unsure whether she wants to be with a man or a woman. She’s scared that if she falls for a woman, her family will reject her because, ultimately, they want her to settle down with a man.”

The insider continues, “For all Gaga’s success, her love life is a mess – and at the heart of the matter is the fact she’s scared of allowing herself to fall in love with a woman. If [her] family rejected her for falling for a woman, she’d be utterly heartbroken. She adores them, especially her younger sister Natalie.”

However, perhaps Gaga’s fears are for nothing as she might be too busy to fall in love any time soon. Sir Elton John himself has claimed that Lady Gaga should sing the next James Bond theme song, an honour bestowed on the likes of Madonna, Sheryl Crow, Tina Turner, Shirley Manson and Alicia Keys in the past.

oovie bosses have apparently asked her to submit a track for the movie because Gaga would be the perfect choice of singer. Elton, who performed with Gaga at the Grammys, also wants to work with her on a song, commenting, “I’m really pleased that Lady Gaga is up for the theme tune…. She’s fantastic and it would be amazing to do a duet.”
