Kylie Minogue is planning to follow Madonna’s footsteps and publish a children’s book. The pint-sized popstar, who is currently recovering from breast cancer, will release `The Showgirl Princess’ later this year. The tale is based on her own rise to superstardom, aimed at fans aged six and upwards. The book’s editor, Jane Richardson, explained the motivation: “It brims with positive messages such as believing in yourself and the importance of friendship and teamwork.” [9 March 2006]
