As ‘Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps’ hits cinemas worldwide, Michael Douglas’ father Kirk has talked about how proud he is of his son.
Michael, who was diagnosed with throat cancer earlier this year is currently undergoing intensive treatment in a bid to beat the disease and Kirk says his son’s determination to recover has left him in awe.
Talking of a talk show appearance of Michael’s, Kirk says “The other night he (Michael) appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to talk about the sequel to Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. I think it will be even better than the first. He also talked with dignity and humour (sic) about his bout with cancer. I admire my son, he’s quite a guy.”
‘Wall Street 2’ is currently on in New Zealand cinemas.
