Reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently wed basketball star Kris Humphries in a star-studded ceremony, but the couple will have to wait until summer 2012 for their romantic getaway due to Kim’s commitments.
A source says, “With her work schedule it’s the earliest she can get away. Kris is not over the moon.”
The couple tied the knot at a $24 million mansion in Santa Barbara, California owned by former Google CEo Eric Schmidt.
However, they had to slash invite list because of space restrictions at the stunning property, which sits on 20 acres.
A source explains, “once the fire department learned about all the TV equipment that was going to be inside the space – the lights, cameras and production crew – Kim was told she had to cut the guest list by 50 people.”
Those lucky enough to still be invited to the nuptials were asked by Kim to wear white.
She said before the ceremony, “I get really uncomfortable when it’s all about me, so I want to share that experience with everyone so that there aren’t all eyes on me.”
