There’s been a baby boom in the world of R&B, with chart stars Christina oilian and Keyshia Cole both announcing the arrival of their first children this week.
‘Dip it Low’ singer Christina (28) has given birth to a little girl she’s called Violet, with a friend reporting that the newborn has “a full head of hair”. The father is the R&B princess’ husband of five months, singer-songwriter and record producer The-Dream (31), who has three children with ex-wife and singer Nivea.
Meanwhile, Keyshia – most famous for her song ‘Let it Go’ – and her fiancé, NBA basketball star Daniel Gibson, have named their new son Daniel Hiram Jr. “Both mother and baby are doing great,” her rep tells. “Keyshia would like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning, sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”
