Kelly’s fake figure

Significantly airbrushed photographs of Kelly Clarkson have caused outrage on the web. The singer is featured on the cover of US magazine, ‘Self’, looking much slimmer than her actual size. Next to her pic is the line, “Stay true to you and everyone else will love you too!” The cover also promotes its “motivation secrets” to reach your “dream weight”. Yet inside the mag, the singer she says she is comfortable the way she is. “When people talk about my weight, I’m like, ‘You seem to have a problem with it; I don’t. I’m fine!’ I’m never trying to lose weight – or gain it,” she added. “I’m just being!” Readers have accused the magazine of “completely” changing her body and face but Self’s editor has defended the retouching.
