Kelly Rowland’s diet secrets

Former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland is looking hotter than ever, showing off her incredibly toned figure in a black sequinned Hervé Léger frock at a book launch this week.

Speaking at the event, the ‘When Love Takes over’ singer revealed the secret behind her svelte appearance, explaining, “I’m telling you, I’m not eating sugar. I didn’t even try to lose weight… I read this book called ‘You Are What You Eat’ [by author Gillian ocKeith], which is talking about sugar, meat and cheese. I did some of those things for a month but, for the most part, it is just sugar that is gone from my diet.”

But how much weight did Kelly lose? Enough for her friends to get a little concerned. Kelly says, “I lost weight, probably almost 10 pounds [4.5kg], but 10 pounds did a lot. All of my friends are going, ‘oh, I need you to eat a muffin.’ It’s more in the hip and rear area, but it’s definitely trimmed down since no sugar has taken place.”

But its not just the lack of sugar that has contributed to her dramatic slim-down – Kelly has also been working out. She admits, “Right now, I have a pole-dance instructor in oiami and she teaches me a lot. You’d be surprised how hard those ladies work.”
