Keira Knightley is lined up to reprise her Bend It Like Beckham role, along with her co-star Parminder Nagra. Film director Gurinder Chadha is making a sequel to the 2003 movie next year. Gurinder says, “I see it more as a continuation of the characters than an actual sequel. The first film was based on me when I was growing up, whereas this next one is going to be about my life afterwards.” [10 November 2005]
