Talk about a teenage dream! Students at an Australian high school recently had the surprise of their lives when pop star Katy Perry crashed their ball!
Katy was denied access at first but she was determined to get in. A guest reports, ”Someone came over to me, saying Katy had heard about our formal and wanted to come. But she’s a celebrity and there were more than 550 students in the room, so another person said it would be too dangerous.”
However, the ‘Hot N Cold’ singer tried again, asking the student to accompany her through the doors, upon which she grabbed a microphone and said, “Well, this is boring,” and started singing!
Katy’s hit single ‘California Gurls’ was put on and everyone rushed to see the future ors Russell Brand. Another student says, ”I saw everyone rush the dance floor. I thought maybe it was just a good song, but then everyone started screaming her name so I ran down. It was a pretty compact circle around her. Everyone was engulfing her, taking photos, screaming.”
Katy reported her stunt on Twitter half an hour later, saying, ”I totes just crashed a prom!”
