This quirky couple only became engaged on New Years Eve after a whirlwind romance, but concerns were already rising that Katy Perry and Russell Brand hadn’t finalized a date for their big day.
Not anymore! Friends recently received a ‘Save the Date’ card which asks guests not just to save a day, but a whole week, for the wedding festivities. The ‘Hot n Cold’ singer and British comedian are planning to celebrate from 18 october for the next seven days.
The cards feature a henna-decorated hand and inform guests, “You will need a passport and will be contacted soon with more information.” The organisation of the event has all been left to Katy though, according to Russell. “She’s in charge!” he says.
