It’s not hard to see that Katy Perry is trim and toned, and her personal trainer has revealed one of her secrets to a pert bottom and muscular legs – skipping! Trainer Harley Pasternak says Katy enjoys five short, 25-minute workouts each week to keep in shape. “It’s an intense workout that lasts 25 minutes,” says Harley. “Working out more often for shorter periods is better than three times a week for longer.” “Katy loves jumping rope, so that’s what we do for cardio,” he continues. “It’s convenient, dance-like and expressive and efficient.” According to Harley, Katy is also on a strict diet which means she eats five small meals a day, but she can indulge in junk food such as pizza and chocolate once a week.
