Fuelling the suspicions that hunky actor Tom Cruise is well on the way to converting his new girlfriend to his beliefs, recent sightings of Katie Holmes have her paired with a woman employed by the Church of Scientology. Accompanying her to press conferences, TV interviews and autograph signings, sources say that Jessica Rodriguez is travelling with Katie as a “friend and assistant – not a religious adviser”. Although she denies she is a follower, the young starlet (26) is taking scientology lessons, and says, “I’m really excited about scientology. I know how important it is to Tom”.
