Insiders say Katherine Heigl is desperate to escape her hit TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.
“She’s working really long hours and is ready to move on,” one source tells.
Since breaking into the spotlight with ‘Grey’s’, Katherine has had wild success with films like ‘Knocked Up’ and ’27 Dresses’.
A movie-industry expert says, “She’s a smart one. She saw what can happen with someone like Jennifer Aniston, who was crazy successful on TV but can’t seem to carry a film, and she tested the waters early.”
Unfortunately, she’s locked into her ‘Grey’s’ contract and it looks like she won’t be leaving in a hurry.
