Jamie Hince may have proposed with it, but it’s reported that Kate Moss paid for her engagement ring.
The supermodel, who has apparently amassed a $80 million fortune during her career, allegedly wanted a ring that was out of the guitarist’s price range, so he went out and used money she has given him to build a recording studio.
A source has said, “He is so dependent on her. Kate even calls herself his ‘Sugar oummy’. He was desperate to surprise her so he used the money she’d given him to build his recording studio. That way she paid for the biggest chunk of it, but him popping the question still came out of the blue.”
