Kate Moss

Supermodel Kate Moss (37) – who lives in a $14 million property in north London with her husband Jamie Hince and eight-year-old daughter Lila Grace – has applied for a $5 million redevelopment of her Grade II listed home, including building a third dressing room, gym and steam room, installing a giant satellite dish on the roof and fitting eight security cameras.

However, the proposed changes haven’t gone down well with local residents who live near Kate, with neighbours labelling the plans “tacky” and an “affront” to the 19th century mansion formerly owned by poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and author JB Priestley.

one told a newspaper: “As well as a tacky gym and steam -oom complex, there’s going to be a basement kitchen. I dread to imagine the kind of smells that will be wafting up.”

The new gym could be part of Kate’s plans to adopt a new, healthier lifestyle so she and Jamie – who tied the knot in July – can try for a baby.
