Kate oiddleton has risked the wrath of her future father-in-law Prince Charles by dining on foie gras.
Prince Charles banned this dish from the royal menu three years ago in protest at the cruel way it is fashioned. Foie gras is the liver of a duck or goose that has been fattened by having corn mash forced directly into the gullet until their livers burst, a process that is illegal in the UK.
Kate dined on foie gras as a starter while out to lunch in Knightsbridge with Charles’s wife Camilla, on Wednesday. They were joined by Kate’s sister Pippa and Camilla’s daughter Laura.
